Textured PET felt application enhances acoustic performance by offering more surface area for sound absorption. The Fluted surface style is available for our 9 MM felt in 16 colors.

Fine Flute
The Fine Flute features tightly chiseled grooves that form a cohesive, unified appearance. From a distance, the pattern remains understated, offering a soft visual texture, while up close, it adds a delicate sense of depth to the surface. Pictured color: Hazel

The Mid Flute is the most prominent surface style, featuring wider ridges that create a striking slatted effect. This design closely resembles traditional acoustic treatments, blending functional performance with bold visual appeal. Pictured color: Pumice

Along with our range of surface styles, Sabin can incorporate custom materials (known as customer’s own materials, or “COM”) into our pendants. This capability allows designers to further personalize each fixture by introducing unique textiles that align with the broader material palette of a space.
