Sabin provides designers with the building blocks to create unique, high-performing acoustic and lighting compositions for commercial interiors. Our namesake, the sabin (pronounced sey·bin), is a unit of measurement for sound absorption per square foot. We ensure interiors remain comfortable and bright without compromising on design.
SEWN CONSTRUCTION IS A
NEW STANDARD FOR QUALITY
The materials are the heart of our work. Sabin's product architecture is designed to complement the strength of felt by using proprietary cuts and folds to create rigid forms and sewn construction to secure the forms in place. The stitching from our sewn construction is visible on almost all Sabin fixtures, giving them our trademark tailored look.

and Greenguard Gold Certified
All Sabin products are GREENGUARD Gold certified, meeting strict emissions standards for healthier indoor air. This third-party certification supports LEED, WELL, and other sustainability goals, giving specifiers confidence in every project. For our reps, it means peace of mind that every Sabin product meets the highest standard for low chemical emissions. On top of that, we build with post-consumer recycled PET felt that is both SCS™ Recycled Content and OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 certified.
Declare Red List Free
Declare screens a product’s ingredients directly against the Living Building Challenge (LBC) Red List, saving project teams from the arduous task of vetting products by hand. The LBC Red List contains the “worst in class” materials, chemicals and elements known to pose serious risks to human health and the greater ecosystem that are prevalent in the building products industry. Declare labels insure that all materials in a product are disclosed and publically available.

SCS Global Services offers a Recycled Content Certification for materials that meet a certain minimum percentage of recycled content in their materials. Sabin felt has been certified to meet a minimum of 60% post-consumer recycled polyester staple fiber content in our felt.
