Littler Mendelson PC, a leading labor and employment law firm, partnered with Gensler Miami in this tenant fit-out at UnCommons, a vibrant mixed-use community in Las Vegas’ Spring Valley neighborhood just west of The Strip.
The design prioritized functionality, addressing common open-office challenges by incorporating lots of closed storage, conference rooms, and flexible spaces such as booths and lounges. A secondary emphasis on aesthetics introduced refined details such as Bernhardt Design Ice Tables, wood-wrapped desks, glass partitions, and a waterfall marble kitchen counter complemented by extended backsplash tiles.
The soft finishes throughout the space fulfilled both needs, working functionally to absorb sound and create the tactility that underlies professionally designed spaces. Represented by Infinity Architectural Lighting, this composition features soon to launch GRAPH, with a baffle pattern that elongates the ceiling and adds layered depth, bringing a sense of calm and acoustic control where it’s needed most in congregational areas. The overall effect reinforces the connection between comfort and functionality.
